Vinted explained the revised method more closely matches comparable marketplaces. It has advised users to review their products and manually change the size if necessary, resulting in member annoyance. Sizing System Modifications Previously, the sizing featured a single numeric size and a letter, such as S/8 or M/10. The revised method features a letter with a size spectrum for example S/UK 8-10. For certain items, the size labels have been reassigned - for example a size L used to be a 12 but currently displays as UK 16-18. Member Stories Frankie Bridger, who makes TikTok content about plus-size fashion, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult". "Rarely do manufacturers list XL as sizes 20-22," the way the service now categorizes. Stephanie Gallen, from Glasgow, explained products she uploaded with size 14 tags were displaying on the service as larger sizing 20-22. "If buyers measuring 20-22 acquire them they may become frustrated," she stated. Required Changes A different user, from Derby, explained she became annoyed because the modification necessitated personal updates the sizes on "every single listing". "For me this is particularly frustrating, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial after experiencing income reduction," she said.
